Norfolk, Va - It was a big night in high school basketball as two of the best boys teams in Hampton Roads went head to head. The Norview Pilots hosted the Maury Commodores in a game that would end in the Pilots favor.
For the final play of the third quarter, Lamont Stewond blew by defenders with the clock ticking and makes it. The crowd went crazy as Norview extended their lead off of the buzzer-beating lay-up.
In the fourth quarter, Maury stole the ball and pushed it down the court. Matt Coleman pulled up to drain a three right in the defender’s face.
Later in the fourth quarter, Maury trailed by ten points. Once Norview got possession of the ball, they dished the monster in an alley-oop to Dae-Dae Brown.
Norview defeated Maury with a final score of 69 to 59.
