UPDATE: Lanes have now reopened and the scene is clear.
Newport News, Va. – One lane of I-64 westbound and one lane of I-64 eastbound are closed while crews recover an overturned pickup truck and a tractor-trailer after a crash.
Police say a 2005 Dodge pickup truck was traveling eastbound on I-64 when it attempted to avoid a vehicle merging onto the interstate. The pickup hit the front of a 1996 Freightliner tractor-trailer, causing the pickup to run off the road into the grass median and overturn.
The tractor-trailer continued down the median before coming to a stop.
There are no reported injuries.
