Portsmouth, Va. – A group of seven to nine-year-olds are gearing up for the ultimate fan experience with the Washington Wizards on February 28th.
The Churchland Basketball Association Knicks were surprised by their coach, Darnell Fisher and team mom of three years, Stephanie Morales when they learned they were selected to play at the Verizon Center, Washington Wizards Stadium.
The Knicks will play one quarter on the same court where the pros play with their team name on the Jumbotron before the game begins between the Washington Wizards and the Detroit Pistons.
Not only will the Knicks watch the Wizards play up close, they will also stand on the Verizon Center Court and high five the Wizards as they run onto the court from the locker room!
The Knicks are on a winning streak of 8-0 and are very excited about the reward for their hard work.
