Norfolk, Va. – A woman has been hospitalized following a crash in Norfolk, police tell NewsChannel 3.
The call came in around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Crews responded to the intersection of Boush Street and Olney Road.
An SUV was traveling north on Boush Street, as a Saturn was heading east on Olney Road. The SUV ran the red light and hit the Saturn, according to police.
There was one driver in each vehicle, both women.
The driver of the Saturn was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the SUV was cited for Disregard of a Red Light.
