Jamestown High School student facing charges after being accused of making threats, bringing knife to school

James City County, Va. – A 15-year-old in James City County is facing criminal charges after officials say he made threats on Facebook and brought a knife on school property.

This happened at Jamestown High School on February 10th.

Police say they found the knife inside of the teen’s backpack.

The assistant principal contacted the school resource officer with the information.

They say the teen threatened another student on Facebook the night before.

Police say they are looking to charge the teen with possession of a weapon on school property and threats of death or bodily injury to a person on school property.
