Man sought for recent incident at Virginia Beach Walmart store

Virginia Beach, Va.- Virginia Beach Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man involved in a recent incident at a Walmart store.

SuspectThe incident occurred at the Walmart at 2021 Lynnhaven Parkway between the hours of 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, February 1st, and 1:18 a.m. on Monday, February 2nd.

According to police, the man tried to go into sections within the Walmart that are restricted to the public, and he tried to gain access to the store’s safe.

The man is described as 6’ tall, weighing around 170-180 lbs., and between the ages of 25 and 35. During the incident, he was wearing a brown jacket, black shirt, blue jeans, a black knit hat, brown boots, and he seems to have a goatee.
