Suffolk, Va. – A 25-year-old man was arrested and charged after police say he broke into a Suffolk church.
They say the incident happened in the 700 block of Manning Road.
Police were notified at around 2:30 p.m. on February 17th.
They were told that a man got out of his vehicle, walked into the woods and then towards Holland Road.
Police say the man forced his way into the Family Harvest Church.
They were able to find the suspect by using a description of the vehicle.
The man was identified as Jordan Andrew Hyatt. He has been charged with entering property of another purpose of damaging it and destruction of property and trespassing.
This investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.
