Newport News, Va. – Crews responded to a fire at a Newport News church on Thursday night.
This happened at Gethsemane Baptist Church at 5405 Roanoke Avenue.
The church was empty at the time.
They say the fire started on the roof.
No one was injured and there was little damage to the building.
There’s no word yet on what caused the fire.
