UPDATE: Police believe the man may have been hit by a car.
He has been identified as Ralph Hart from Marrero, Louisiana.

Norfolk, Va. - A man's death is under investigation after he was found in the parking lot of a Norfolk hotel early Friday morning.
A woman found the 44-year-old man bleeding near a car in the parking lot of the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel located at 1500 N. Military Highway around 8:00 a.m.
The man was transported to the hospital where he later died.
A Medical Examiner will have to determine a cause of death.
The man's identity is known, but will not yet be released until next of kin is notified.
