Norfolk, Va. - A reunion was held today at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for burn survivors.
The event serves as a way for burn survivors to honor those who didn't make it. And a way for survivors to reconnect with hospital employees and a way for employees to see how far the survivors have come.
Participants of the event were able to enjoy gospel music, a parade, a meal and a speech by a burn survivor.
This is the tenth year the reunion has been held.
Last year Sentara Norfolk General Hospital treated 174 burn patients.
