Newport News, Va. – A Newport News woman was arrested and charged after her child’s father says she threatened him with a knife and hit him with her vehicle.
Police say the two were in an argument while they were in her car on March 5th .
He says the woman, identified as 18-year-old Tashana Fitchett, threatened him with a knife. He says she then took the keys out of the ignition causing the car to stop.
The man said she walked away and that’s when Fitchett drove up behind him and hit him with the car.
Fitchett was arrested and charged with malicious wounding, the man was not seriously hurt and refused medical treatment.
An emergency protective order was issued against Fitchett.
