James City County, Va.- Police are investigating an accident involving a stolen GMC van from Norfolk Wednesday afternoon. The van was traveling at a high rate of speed in the 3500 block of John Tyler Highway, when it went around a corner, hitting some trees and ending up in a wooded area.
The driver was taken to Riverside Regional Medical Center. His injuries are to be considered very bad.
No charges have been filed as of yet.
