DC delegate’s horrible parking job caught on video

Posted

Washington, DC (CNN) – It was a jaw dropping parking job by DC delegate to Congress Eleanor Holmes Norton.

Someone was watching as she pulled her silver car into an angled parking spot at the wrong angle, and things got worse from there.

Bad parking may not be an impeachable offense, but it was interesting enough for a couple of tipsters to send the video to Roll Call’s “Heard on the Hill”

The clip shows Norton hit a red car next to her repeatedly as an aide tries to help.

Norton’s office says they did check for damage to the other vehicle, didn’t see any, but still left a note.

Her office told Roll Call the owner of the red SUV did get in touch but said there was no damage.

This wasn’t Norton’s first automotive embarrassment. WRC reported she once managed to botch a driverless car demonstration by pushing the emergency kill button and shutting everything down.
