Crews put out brush fire in Chesapeake

Chesapeake, Va. – Crews in Chesapeake battled a brush fire that burned almost five acres of land on Thursday.

They were initially called out about a shed fire in the 500 block of Truitt Road.

They were notified about the incident at 3:02 p.m.

When they arrived, they saw flames coming from a storage shed and it was spreading to brush nearby.

The fire was under control by 3:36 p.m.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is unknown.
