Suffolk, Va. – On Friday night, a Dodge Caravan ran off the road and hit a fire hydrant in Suffolk causing water to gush out into the street.
The accident happened in the 8900 block of Eclipse Drive.
Crews responded to the scene and provided medical assistance.
No one was injured.
Crews from Suffolk Public Works and Public Utilities also went out to the scene. Residents in the area may experience an issue with water pressure or disruption of service while repairs are being made.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
