Chesapeake, Va. – A woman was hit by a vehicle as she was crossing the street at Battlefield Blvd. and Walmart Way in Chesapeake.
The accident happened at 8:11 p.m. on Friday night.
Police say there was heavy traffic in the area at the time.
She was taken to Norfolk General Hospital.
Her condition is unknown right now.
No charges will be filed against the driver.
This accident is now under investigation.
