Virginia Beach, Va. – One person was killed and two others injured in a car accident Sunday afternoon in Virginia Beach.

Police identified the man who was killed as Ronald Maurice Little, 61, of Virginia Beach.

According to a news release, dispatch received a report about a crash in the 2100 block of General Booth Blvd, near the intersection of Princess Anne Road, around 2:30 p.m.

The accident was between a corvette and a van.  Police say investigators have determined that the 1976 Corvette crossed the double yellow line, striking the 2004 Panel Van head-on.

Little was the driver of the Corvette. The people in the van were released shortly after being transported to the hospital.

The crash is still under investigation.

General Booth Blvd. was closed for part of the afternoon, but it has since reopened.
