Virginia Beach, Va. - The mother of a woman killed over the weekend is begging for answers in tracking down her daughter's killer.

Crystal Stevenson was shot and killed outside of a house party early Sunday morning on Gallery Avenue, according to police. She was just 20 years old.

"This is so hurtful. I'm not supposed to be burying my daughter," said Linda Stevenson, her mother. "Somebody knows something. I'm begging somebody to come forward and please give up any information."

The family had recently moved to Hampton from Houston, Texas to be near family. Linda says Crystal helped to care for her seven siblings. "She's young, but she was the matriarch of our family. She helped keep us together. She is my heart and it feels like a piece of my heart has been taken from me. There's a hole in my heart."

Police haven't released much information, but say they haven't made any arrests.

They have provided two surveillance images with a person of interest and are asking anyone who can identify the man to call Crime Solvers at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
