We are excited to announce the new VIPIR Ready app for iOS and Android, and it’s free!
First, the app asks you to pinpoint your location on a map, so it can send you customized alerts.
Once that’s set, you’ll see a carousel with the daily and hourly forecast, alerts, headlines, video forecasts and the highest resolution interactive radar available.
Scroll through the carousel and tap on any item to see it full-screen.
The interactive map allows you to zoom in and out by pinching, and add in layers such as radar/precipitation, satellite, temperature, storm tracks and lightning.
If you want to adjust the alerts you receive, just go to the settings and customize them for what level suits you.
