James City County, Va. – A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged in James City County after police say they found marijuana and thousands in cash inside of his home.
Rashad Fits Byrd has been charged with possession with intent to distribute more than 1/4 ounce but less than five pounds of marijuana.
At 9 p.m. on April 21st, officials searched his home in the 200 block of Sand Drive West. Inside, they found a pound and a half of marijuana and over $14,000 in cash.
Byrd has been released on a $4,000 secured bond.
No other details have been released.
