Dare County, NC – Dare County Sheriffs say they busted a man who was transporting cocaine in his vehicle into the area.
The Dare County Narcotics Task Force was investigating already. They had information that led them to a traffic stop on a vehicle that was on Colington Road, this is near Billy’s Seafood.
Once they stopped the vehicle, that’s when they found the cocaine inside.
They’ve charged 23-year-old Robert Wayne Phillips. He’s facing conspire to sell and or deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to sell and or deliver cocaine and maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances charges.
He is now being held at the Dare County Detention Center in lieu of a $30,000 secured bond.
