Portsmouth, Va. – Police detectives are asking for help identifying a woman who stole money from another woman’s purse at the Thrift Store City on Victory Blvd.
On April 14th at 2pm the woman took a purse from another shopper when the woman was not looking. The suspect walked around the store while taking an undisclosed amount of money from the purse, then placed it on a shelf where it was later recovered.
Anyone with information about this case or who can identify the female suspect pictured in the photographs is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers are never asked to give their name or required to testify in court. If a caller’s tip leads to an arrest, the recovery of drugs or stolen property they could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
