Driver injured after car flips over in Suffolk resident’s front yard

Suffolk, Va. – A man has been taken to the hospital after his car flipped onto its roof and into a Suffolk resident’s yard.

This happened at the intersection of Hillpoint Boulevard and Tee Box Lane.

Calls came in at 6:29 p.m.

Police say a 45-year-old man was driving a Nissan Rogue SUV and lost control of his vehicle.

He was going southbound on Hillpoint when he hit a fence, a few trees and a stop sign before he landed upside down in the front yard of a home in the 100 block of Tee Box Lane. This is in the Hillpoint Farms neighborhood off Godwin Road.

He was the only person inside.

He was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
