Norfolk, Va. – On Wednesday, ODU students received an alert about a possible sexual assault that occurred on campus.
Police say they believe the assault occurred on April 26th between the hours of midnight and 5 a.m. in Whitehurst Hall which is on 1715 48th Street.
The victim is not a student. The incident was reported on April 27th in Spotsylvania and the information was then forwarded to ODU police.
Investigators say the victim and the suspect knew each other.
No other information has been released.
