Hampton, Va. – Hampton Police are looking for a person in connection to a shooting that occurred May 2nd.
Police say officers responded to the 600 block of Michigan Drive at 1:52 p.m. that afternoon in reference to a shooting complaint.
Officers found a 28-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening injury.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was parked in his vehicle when a gold four-door vehicle approached. The driver of that vehicle shot at the victim’s vehicle several times, hitting the victim once. The driver fled the scene before police arrived.
