Norfolk, Va. - William and Mary baseball hosted No. 18 College of Charleston in a rematch of last years CAA championship. They dropped both games Friday and Saturday and were looking to avoid the sweep Sunday. It looked like they may have made it after leading in the seventh, but the Cougars came back and scored 5 runs solidifying the victory. Tribe fall 10-6.
It was a better day for the Norfolk State Spartans, though. The Spartans officially clinched their first ever MEAC Northern Division regular season title after a win over Coppin State.
