Portsmouth, Va. – Police are investigating after two people were shot Wednesday night in Portsmouth.
Calls came in about a gunshot victim in the 30th block of Lexington Drive.
When they arrived, they could not find a victim.
One victim was taken by friends to a hospital after being shot in the lower part of his body.
At around 8:22 p.m., reports came in about another man who had been shot in the 2800 block of Columbus Avenue near Lexington Drive.
The second victim was shot in the upper shoulder.
