BB&T bank robbed in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. – Crews have responded to a robbery at BB&T Bank located at 901 West Little Creek Road in Norfolk.

The call came in at 12:26 p.m. on Friday, May 8.

Police say a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt entered the bank, brandished a firearm, demanded money from a teller, and received an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the bank. He was last seen running southbound from the area, police say.

The suspect has been described as a black male between 20-30 years of age, and approximately 5’5″ in height with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing black-rimmed glasses and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
