Chesapeake, Va. – A driver was injured after he lost control of his truck and slid into a school bus near Kempsville Road and Battlefield Blvd.
The driver suffered minor injuries and no one was injured on the bus. There were two students on board at the time. They were coming from Greenbrier Intermediate School.
Kempsville Road is blocked between Clearfield Avenue and Battlefield Blvd. Traffic is heavy in this area right now. Drivers can use Mt. Pleasant Road or Volvo Parkway as alternate routes.
