Poquoson, Va. – A 12-year-old was hit by a vehicle while riding his bike in Poquoson on Wednesday.
This happened near the intersection of Wythe Creek Road and Victory Blvd.
The child was trying to cross Victory Boulevard between two cars. Dispatch says he was not in a crosswalk at the time and was hit by the vehicle that was traveling westbound.
The boy was injured but was alert when he was taken to the hospital.
There’s no word yet on his condition.
