Portsmouth, Virginia - A Norfolk Naval Shipyard employee was found unresponsive in her car Monday evening around 5:30 p.m. at the Port Centre parking lot outside the shipyard, according to a NNSY official.
Emergency personnel responded and pronounced the woman deceased.
The incident remains under investigation by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
The death is not suspicious in nature, according to officials.
