Norfolk, Va. - A fire broke out at Norfolk International Terminals overnight.
It happened just after 11 p.m. Thursday night on Hampton Boulevard.
Navy crews also responded to the fire.
When crews arrived, they found thick black smoke coming from a two story maintenance repair building.
It took firefighters almost an hour to put out the flames.
No one was in the building.
Officials say several pieces of equipment used to move cargo containers were inside, but only one was damaged.
The fire did not impact any port operations.
The cause is under investigation.
