Portsmouth, Va. (WTKR) – Portsmouth Police are investigating the armed robbery of a cell phone store that happened Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to the Cricket Wireless located at 4020 Victory Boulevard at 4:06 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2015.
According to police, a man armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded money from the employees before running away.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Portsmouth Police say there are looking for a black man in his early 30s, standing 5’10” tall and weighing between 180 and 185 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeve T-shirt, gray track pants, gray mirrored sunglasses and a gray baseball hat.
