RV, house burn across the street from Hampton fire station

Hampton, Virginia - An RV parked beside a house in the 300 block of West Pembroke Avenue, across the street from Fire Station 1, caught fire shortly before 1:00am, according to fire officials.

That fire quickly spread to the second story of the house.

Firefighters responded and the fire was extinguished around 1:30a.m.

The fire caused moderate damage to the house.

There were no injuries and no one was in the house at the time of the fire.

Firefighters blocked off West Pembroke Avenue and were on scene for hours.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
