Expect fewer hurricanes than normal this year.
On Wednesday, forecasters from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) released their predictions for the 2015 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
They're forecasting 6 to 11 named storms. 3 to 6 of those storms could become hurricanes. Zero to 2 could become major hurricanes, category 3 or higher.
Forecasters say El-Nino is responsible for a below-normal season.
During El-Nino years, wind shear typically increases, which can tear storms apart.
The Atlantic Hurricane Season officially begins June 1. The season ends November 30.
