Hampton police asking for help identifying man who robbed CVS on West Mercury Blvd.

Hampton, Va. – Hampton police are asking for help in finding the man who robbed the CVS in the 2300 block of West Mercury Boulevard early Saturday morning.

An unidentified black man entered the CVS around 4:59am, demanded money at gunpoint and then ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, last seen wearing all black clothing, a full black ski mask and carrying a yellow bag.

If anyone saw this individual fleeing the area and can help investigators determine where he went after fleeing the business they are urged to contact the Hampton Police Division at 727-6111 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Tipsters can also send an anonymous tip via text message to the Crime Line by texting “HAMPTONPDTIPS plus your tip” to 274637 (CRIMES). Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court. If a Crime Line call results in an arrest, the caller is eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
