Newport News, Va. – A Mississippi man matched all five numbers in the May 30th $1,000,000 Money Ball drawing to win a prize of $100,000.
Homer Bean was in Newport News with his wife when he stopped at the Miller Mark at 948 J. Clyde Morris Boulevard and bought a ticket.
The winning numbers for that drawing were 5-16-18-27-29. He used Easy Pick and allowed the computer to randomly select the numbers on his ticket.
“I couldn’t believe it,” he said. “I had to take a blood pressure pill!”
Bean said he expects to use his winnings to pay bills and maybe travel.
