Suffolk, Va. – Two separate vehicle crashes Wednesday morning in Suffolk have resulted in several people being hospitalized.
Police, Fire & Rescue and EMS responded to the 1900 block of Portsmouth Boulevard just after 11:00 a.m. to find that a vehicle had gone off the road and
crashed into a tree.
The female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was extricated and transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Crews also responded to the 2300 block of Whaleyville Road around 11:30 a.m. in response to a head-on collision.
Both drivers involved were extricated from their vehicles. A man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries while a woman was transported to Sentara Obici Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The causes of both accidents are under investigation.
