Chesapeake, Va. - The Hickory Hawks beat the Atlee Radiers in the 5A South Region championship Saturday.
A home run from Hawks' Amy Sykes would be the only score of the game. Hawks win 1-0.
The Hawks head to the state championship where they play at James Robinson High School in Northern Virginia on June 12 at 1pm.
