Norfolk, Virginia – One person has been detained following a police pursuit Tuesday morning, according to Norfolk police dispatchers.
Dispatchers say police initiated a pursuit in the 3500 block of Granby Street near the Virginia Zoo around 4:12am and the suspect vehicle refused to stop.
The pursuit continued to the area of 27th Street and Church Street where the car stopped and the driver got out and ran.
Dispatchers say a person was detained but could not confirm if an arrest had been made.
The car involved in the pursuit was towed away.
