Portsmouth, Va. – A man was pronounced dead on Wednesday after he was found unresponsive in a pool, Portsmouth police tell NewsChannel 3.
It happened just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, according to police.
Police and medics responded to the 4300 block of Thistle Drive regarding an unresponsive male found in a pool.
The victim was a 60-year-old man. The pool was at his home, NewsChannel 3 has learned.
Medics removed the man from the pool, and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
