More heat and humidity… It’s another warm and muggy morning with temperatures in the 70s. Highs will return to the low 90s this afternoon. It will feel even hotter with the humidity. Expect heat index values in the mid to upper 90s this afternoon. We will see partly cloudy skies again today with an isolated shower or storm possible. Heat and humidity continues for Saturday with highs in the low 90s and heat index values in the upper 90s to near 100. The chance for showers and storms goes up for the weekend as a string of fronts settles in from the north. Highs will slide back into the 80s for Sunday and early next week.
