Newport News police searching for man who broke into Quartermaster Police Supply Store

Newport News, Va. – Newport News police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who broke into Quartermaster Police Supply Store at 14347 Warwick Blvd on June 12th.

At approximately 1:50 a.m. officers were dispatched to the store after simultaneous calls for service from someone witnessing the man forcing entry through the front door and a answering service notifying dispatch of a burglary alarm at the business.

Three firearms were taken in the burglary.

A check of the business’s video surveillance system revealed the black man pictured above.
