Newport News, Va. – A Hampton man was arrested on multiple charges in Newport News on Saturday after he was found standing naked on a street corner holding a beer can.
Police responded to the intersection of 27th Street and Roanoke Avenue just before 6pm for a call of a naked man standing on the street corner. Officers found 53-year-old Mark Kenneth Williams shirtless and attempting to pull up his pants while holding a beer can.
A witness told police Williams was standing on the corner naked and was asked to put his clothes on but ignored the request. There were three children outside at the time of the incident who saw Mr. Williams naked.
Williams was charged with three counts of indecent liberties, one count of drunk in public and an outstanding warrant in Hampton for probation violation.
