Hampton, Va. – The 24th Afrikan American Festival is coming back to Hampton June 26th.
The Afrikan American Festival is presented by the Peninusla Association for Sickle Cell Anemia. Join Hampton Roads in exploring the African American culture.
This event is free and open to the public and will be held at Mill Point Park on 100 Eaton Street in Hampton. Free parking is also available around the Downtown Hampton area.
This years festival will feature over 60 vendors selling black art, sculptures, and of course food!
The festival is also going to be filled with live performances from people like Karla Crump, Wilson Night, and the Earth Wind & Fire Tribute Band.
The Afrikan American Festival lasts from June 26th to June 29th.
