As the 10-year Anniversary of Operation Red Wings approaches, it is with the utmost honor and respect; we begin to plan Operation Red Wings 10th Year Commemoration Event. This family-friendly event will take place Saturday, June 27 in Suffolk, VA.
We will start in Virginia Beach with a 33 mile remembrance ride that will begin at Lendy’s Cafe and end at Skydive Suffolk. Once there, 19 SEALs will jump with 19 American flags, which will then be presented to the Gold Star Families. There will be tandem jumps for Gold Star family members, representatives from each Operation Team being honored (ST10, SDV1-2, AND SOAR), food and drinks, music and activities for kids – it will be an amazing celebration of these warrior’s lives. We are very grateful to have Torrie Rogers as the lead organizer for the ride related portion. This event has been created to honor the men, the families left behind and the NSW community as whole with the help of teammates, Gold Star families, Wounded Wear, and the All In All the Time Foundation.
