Virginia State Police searching for endangered missing girl

Smyth County, Va. — As of Saturday June 27 at 9:40 PM, the Virginia State Police and Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an endangered missing child alert on behalf of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

They are looking for 14-year-old Hayleigh Cheyenne Wilson. She is 5’5″ in height, 150 pounds in weight, with hazel eyes and black hair, wearing a black and white flowery top and black shorts.

The child is believed to be in danger and was last seen in Smyth County, Virginia. She may be in the company of 41-year-old Benjamin Joseph Shook. The subject is 6’3″ in height, 175 pounds in weight, with blue eyes and brown hair. Last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, black shorts, and a camouflage ball cap.

The vehicle they were in was recovered in Grayson County, Virginia, and they are now on foot.
