Norfolk police searching for man in attempted Walgreens robbery

Norfolk, Va. — Norfolk police are searching for a man who attempted to rob a Walgreens Saturday night.

Shortly before 9:30 PM, a man walked into the Walgreens located at 1169 North Military Highway, displayed a gun, and demanded money from the cashier.

As the cashier was complying, the suspect quickly ran out of the store before receiving any cash.

He was last seen walking away from Walgreens down Lowery Road.

The suspect has been described as a 40-50 year-old black man, around 5’6″. He was wearing a light blue Yankees hat, gray shirt, and light colored shorts.
