I-64E at High Rise Bridge reopens after multi-vehicle accident

UPDATE: All lanes of I-64 at the High Rise Bridge have been reopened.

Chesapeake, Va. – A multi-vehicle accident involving at least one tractor trailer has shut down I-64 eastbound at the High Rise Bridge.

Traffic is currently being re-routed at I-464.

Traffic backups are approximately 2.5 miles.
