Norfolk, Va. – Saturday morning around 7:50 a.m. Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to a fire in the 1600 block of Melon Street.
Fire crews quickly extinguished a kitchen fire leaving the structure uninhabitable with smoke damage.
An adult male and female along with two children were displaced by the fire. The Red Cross is assisting the occupants.
